History Rajagopal Polytechnic College is the vision and creation of Late Shri.B.Rajagopal Naidu, great philanthropist of Gudiyattam. He founded the institution in August 1960. It was a 26 lakh Project, sponsored by Rajagopal Educational Trust during the second five year plan of Government of India. The laboratories are equipped with the state of art of modern equipments with the assistance of world bank.
